The Rise of China?

I wouldnt call it rise.
China has always been Zhong Guo, the center of the world, the country in the middle.
China has always been the most advanced country in the world. The only powers that were able to reach their level have been Rome for few centuries, Persia for a couple of centuries, briefly the Arab Caliphate, briefly the Mongolian Khanate (which however to avoid obliteration, eventually, had to become assimilated and fuse into China), the Turkish Empire under Soliman.
The only two periods of deep crisis in China have been due to endogenous causes: the internal struggles in III century AD, which led to the empire being split into the Three Kingdoms and the so called Chinese Middle Age; and the rise of an inefficient and incompetent ruling class in the XIX century AD, which led to the so called century of humiliations, with China being brutally colonized and enslaved by England, France, Italy, Germany, Usa and Japan.

Hence, nowadays, thanks to the enlightened leadership of the Communist Party of China, China made it back where it belongs, back to where it has been for almost all history, i.e., at the forefront of the human civilisation.
